ResearchEquals is a new publishing platform for research modules, developed by Liberate Science. Instead of publishing entire projects as papers, researchers publish their process, sharing the building blocks of research continuously and in chronological order.
As a fellow, you will help grow the collective understanding and build community around this change in scholarly publishing. How you want to bring collective understanding, is where you are able to bring your creativity and unique skills as a fellow.
During the fellowship you will work independently and implement an idea to grow the number of people publishing research modules.
We ask two things of you during your fellowship:
- To openly document and publish your work on ResearchEquals.com
- To proactively share with us how the implementation of your idea is going on a regular basis
We are currently looking for two ResearchEquals fellows. One fellowship will last for nine months full-time (32 hours/week) and one fellowship will last for six months part-time (16 hours/week). Applications can be submitted until November 30, 2021 (12PM UTC+1) through this application form. We work remotely.

Compensation
Full-time Fellowship
This Fellowship is a full-time position (32 hours/week) for nine months.
- Gross monthly salary: 3,152.21EUR
- Loaned laptop computer
- 2,000EUR fellowship budget (e.g., for hosting, illustration work)
You will receive relevant benefits such as health insurance and social security.
Part-time Fellowship
This Fellowship is a part-time position (16 hours/week) for six months.
- Gross monthly salary: 1,576.11EUR
- Loaned laptop computer
- 2,000EUR fellowship budget (e.g., for hosting, illustration work)

- You have a work visa in your country of residence
